This course is for you if you would like to acquire skills and knowledge on modern borehole construction and repair. The student will graduate with a Borehole Technician Certificate. The course is structured as follows:

COURSE ASSESSMENT
The student will be assessed based on two criteria, namely skills and knowledge domains.
Skills domain
The student will be required to demonstrate hands-on the knowledge s-he has acquired and competently assemble, install and repair a borehole. This area will cover 75 percent of the final course assessment.
Knowledge domain
The second part covers 25 percent of the final course assessment and pertains to the knowledge the student would have acquired on their learning journey. This includes the theoretical component of the course and entails a written exam comprising of 50 questions.
ENTRY REQUIREMENT
You must have a Malawi School Certificate of Education to enroll in this course. Those without a formal qualification are welcome to apply, provided they are able to read, speak and write English.

Prospective students who are unable to read, speak and write English can enroll in a similar course offered in Chichewa.
