1. How do I enroll in a course?
To enroll in a course, you must first complete the enrollment form either online or at out training centre. You will undergo an aptitude test and can enroll once you have passed the test.
2. What types of courses are available?
We mainly focus on skill-based courses to ensure our graduates can venture into self-employment once they have completed the course. There are a few knowledge-based courses as well.
3. Are the courses accredited?
We are working with the relevant authorities to accredit our courses. Meanwhile, we are exploring opportunities to get local accreditation.
4. How much time do I need to dedicate to a course?
Our courses are delivered at least 3 days a week. You will need 12 hours a week to dedicate to your training.
5. What are the technical requirements?
You will get the most of your training if you have a smart phone or laptop computer. This will enable you to access the learning materials outside the classroom.
6. Is there any instructor support?
YES, our instructors provide support and coaching during weekdays only. You will be required to attend some skills-based courses. Knowledge-based courses can be completed online.
7. Can I access course materials offline?
No, you will need internet connection to access the online course materials. On average, you will need less than 1GB a month.
8. What happens if I need to drop or withdraw from a course?
Just like many schools, there is no certificate or refund for students who withdraw from a course.
9. Are there any additional costs besides the course fees?
There are no additional fees required.
10. Is there support for graduates?
YES, we provide startup tools for graduates of some courses to help them start their own business after completion. These are highly dependent on donor support and are often in limited supply. Please note that we are not oblidged to provide the equipment and Urunji Child-Care Trust or its constituent Urunji Trust School bears no responsibility for providing these materials and any financial loss or otherwise that may arise from not providing the student with the equipment or startup resources.
